Introduction: Jesus Only

Jesus Christ is God.

And infinitely, eternally more.

Those who know Jesus know God.

They have eternal life, which is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent (John 17:3).

If they continue with Jesus, they will live forever.

Outside of Jesus, there is nothing.

Without Jesus, someone has nothing.

Without Jesus, a person is spiritually dead. If they die without Jesus Christ, they go to eternal death.

Apart from Jesus, someone has nothing and can do nothing. Even if they conquer the world, they have nothing.

Eternal life continues forever in heaven, a place of absolute glory.

Heaven is God’s home, full of the glorious splendor of His majesty and infinitely more.

Those who know Jesus as Lord have the divine nature and life of God. They have the supernatural, abundant, zoe life. They have the Almighty God living in and through them – and all around them.

Those who know Jesus can accomplish things that will last forever. They can store up treasures in heaven.

They can do even greater things than Jesus did. The greater thing is proclaiming the gospel with the result of salvation. Jesus was not able to do that as a man because He had not died and risen from the dead yet.

Eternal death continues forever in hell, the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Those who do not know Jesus have nothing. Even if they gain the whole world, they possess nothing.

Those who do not know Jesus can do nothing. Even if they conquer the whole world, they have accomplished nothing.

The saved are fortunate. They are saved only because the Father and Jesus saved them.

They are favored, happy and blessed, forever. They will spend eternity in the inexpressible glory of God. The glory is His presence, which is so wonderful human words cannot express Him.

For all eternity, they will fellowship with God, with Jesus Christ.

They will have and be everything they want, need, desire, long for and hope for. They will have fullness of happiness, love, joy, peace, rest, faith and infinitely more.

They will worship the Father and Jesus, discover and experience the mysteries and secrets of the kingdom of heaven, learn from Jesus and the Father, minister to others, grow, and eternally more.

They will celebrate the Lord Jesus forever, praise and worship God, be in awe of their Father’s glorious presence and home, and infinitely more.

Jesus will shepherd and feed them. He will lead them to living fountains of waters. The Holy Spirit will live within and with them, forever.

They will drink freely of the fountain of the water of life. They will eat delicious fruit from beautiful trees. They will enjoy the stunning beauty in heaven, of homes, buildings, mountains, hills, fields, trees, flowers, grass and more . . . and most of all, the Father God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

They will attend thrilling worship services. Their praise and worship will literally be collected and presented before God.

They will never hunger or thirst. They will never have sorrow, sadness or pain. God will wipe away all their tears. There will be no more death, sorrow or crying.

The Lord is one.

He is one God: the Lord God Jehovah . . . the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

He created the universe.

He created the heavens, the earth and all that is in them.

His glory, His presence, fills the heavens and the earth.

The universe exists in Him.

The heavens are His throne. The earth is His footstool.

He created mankind.

He made man into His own image and likeness.

He placed man on the earth, in His glorious presence, the presence of the Holy Spirit.

God’s glory filled and surrounded man.

God made man king over the earth.

He made a covenant with man. He made man His partner.

But man chose and chooses self and not God.

Throughout history, man has chosen self rather than God. Man fails. There is none righteous, none who understands, none who seeks after God. We have all turned aside and become unprofitable. There is none who does good, no, not one.

Yet, God had the perfect plan before the foundation of the world.

He knew the enemy would rebel and fall.

He knew man would sin and fall.

But God’s love endures forever. His love never fails.

God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son.

He sent Jesus to die for the world.

He sent the Lamb of God, the Holy One, to redeem and save His people from their sins.

Only one faith has a Savior who died for the world.

Only one God loves the world so much He gave His Son to die for them.

Whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal, everlasting life.
